What is Sisu?
Sisu (Unified Selection System) was created in 2010, and is currently regulated by Normative Ordinance No. 21 of 2012.
Within this system, we can find vacancies for several public higher education institutions in Brazil, and the students can enroll in order to secure one of the vacancies and, finally, enter a higher education course in interest.
Most of the vacancies that are offered by Sisu are from federal colleges, both institutes and universities.
To register, it is not necessary to pay any fee, and the entire process is done online through gov.br.
All students who participated in the most recent edition of the Enem can enroll in the Unified Selection System.
Vacancies available
Sisu's new waiting list offers more than 51,000 vacancies, both in undergraduate courses and in institutions that offer higher education.
More than 578,000 enrollments were made in the courses that were offered in the previous list. This large number of interested parties is due to the variety of options that candidates can choose from, with up to two registrations in each application.
How to track the results?
As we said, if the candidate is interested in joining the new waiting list, he must choose one of the courses to apply for. The call will be held from the 10th of July.
It is essential that candidates follow up their registration through the Single Access Portal of Sisu, so that they can enroll in the chosen course, if called.
