Last week, IBGE opened selection processes for those who want to work at the Institute. Vacancies are for Research and Mapping Agent (APM) and also for Collection and Quality Supervisor (SCQ).
In all, there are 7,548 vacancies offered for all states in the country, including the Federal District. The first wave, APM, requires only Complete High School as instruction. As for the SCQ, you must have completed high school and National driving license in category B.

In addition to all this, there will still be vacancies for black and brown people, in addition to people with disabilities. Applications are open until Wednesday, July 19th.

Entries will be made online, until 23:00 on July 19th. There will be a fee of BRL 42.20 for enrolling in both vacancies. The notice is available on the website Brazilian Institute of Education and Training (IBFC).
In the public notice, you can find some important information, mainly regarding remuneration. Each of the positions has different salaries, as you can see below:
- Research and Mapping Agent: salary of BRL 1,387.50, with food allowance of BRL 658.00, transportation allowance and pre-school allowance;
- Collection and Quality Supervisor: salary of BRL 3,100.00 with food allowance of BRL 658.00, transportation allowance and pre-school allowance.
How will the selection process work?
For both positions, there will be tests lasting 3h30, which will take place on September 17th. The questions will be objective, both for the elimination and for the classification of the candidates. The final result of the contest will be made available on October 23.
However, both tests are different, depending on the position. For the SCQ, the questions will address Portuguese, Mathematicsand Logical Reasoning, Notions of Administration and Managerial Situations, Geography, Ethics in the Public Service and some about information technology.
Those who pay for the APM must find questions about the Portuguese Language, Geography, Mathematics and Logic, in addition to Ethics in the Public Service.
Finally, it is important to mention that the contracts will last for one year and may be extended for another two years.
