Children's and wedding anniversary

The Mangi family, consisting of parents Ameer and Khudija, have a special reason to celebrate every year: all seven of their children were born on the same day, August 1st.

This incredible coincidence made the family famous for holding the Guinness World Record for “Most Family Members Born on Same Day” and “Most Siblings Born on Same Day”.

Their children, Sindhoo, Sasui, Sapna, Aamir, Ambar, Ammar and Ahmar, range in age from 19 to 30. August 1st is a very special date for Ameer and Khudija, as not only is it the birthday of all seven of their children, it also marks the couple's wedding anniversary.

In 1991, Ameer and Khudija decided to get married on their birthday, not imagining what fate had in store for them.

A year after the wedding, the couple received the most special gift they could imagine: the birth of their first daughter, Sindhoo, exactly on her birthday. It was from that moment on that Ameer and Khudija realized that the 1st of August would be an even bigger day of celebration for them.

The Mangi family has yet another amazing story to tell. In addition to their seven children who were born on the 1st of August, they also have two sets of twins with matching birthdays.

Sasui and Sapna were the first twins to be born on that special day, and five years later, in 2003, twins Ammar and Ahmar came into the world.

This coincidence of having two sets of twins with the same datebirth is really remarkable and rare. With that, the Mangi family goes down in history with this feat, equaling the record for “most twins born on the same day”.

The patriarch revealed to Guinness World Records that he did not consciously plan for all his children to be born on the same day. He attributes this amazing phenomenon to the will of God, saying: “it was all natural; of Allah”.
