Recently, Google removed another wave of apps from Google Play, the official Android app store. This time, there were 38 applications that, according to the company's security analysts, contained malicious agents.
According to a report issued by the team at McAfee, which is a Google partner on issues related to digital security, all 38 apps were imitations of the famous Minecraft game. These games already had 34 million downloads at the time of their removal from Google Play.

However, despite their apparent innocence, fraudulent games hid adware, malicious software that uses infected devices to broadcast ads in the background.
So when someone installed these apps on their smartphone or tablet, they also installed the virus. that used the device's internet to make profits for the cybercriminals who control the adware.
Also according to the McAfee team, cell phones infected with this type of virus demonstrate slowness, exaggerated consumption of internet packages and abnormal battery drainage.
