South Korea standardizes citizen age counts

The country has a very curious age system for us, since the accounting of citizens' years is done in a very peculiar way. For example: the babies are born at one year old. • “Korean” age: is the most socially used in the country. In this calculation, everyone is born at one year old, so they are aging a little more every new year, regardless of the date of birth;
• Calendar age: they are born without any age and age every January 1st;
• International age: what we use around here, considering the date of birth of each one.

This type of calculation started in China, but several Asian countries adhered to the culture, however only South Korea still maintained this calculation, which will be changed soon. The measure will standardize this age in the administrative and judicial areas.
