Meet 6 Brazilian women who are GREAT investors

Talking about gender equality in Brazil regarding the financial market is still a difficult task.

According to the B3, there was a significant increase in the number of women investors in the Stock Exchange in 2021. This growth, however, becomes even more expressive if these data are compared with those of 2018, in which there were only 180,000 women on the stock exchange.

However, at the end of 2021, women investing in the stock market totaled approximately 1.15 million, according to B3 data.

In the State of São Paulo, there were more than 461,000 female investors, however, considering that there are 1.8 million active investors in that State, this number is somewhat insignificant. However, if we take into account the data from the previous year, the number of female investors on the stock exchange was 23.19%, with a great possibility of growth.

In this sense, in order to provide the opening for new women to also become investors, we put together a list of digital influencers in the field of investments and personal finance to provide this incentive. Check out:

1. Gabriella Mosmann. Mossman is an investment analyst at Suno Research, with a degree in Economics, as well as a postgraduate degree (Masters level) in Finance from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS), being the only female analyst among the senior staff of the Sun.

Gabriela made her first investment with her internship salary at the time of graduation, around R$900, taking up to three months to gather the money necessary for this, since the value to enter the fund, at the time, was R$1 thousand or R$2 thousand. In addition, Mossman has a YouTube channel with 34,000 subscribers, providing content related to financial education, both for those who have been in the area for a while and for those who are starting.

2. Nathalia Arcuri. Arcuri is the creator and presenter of spare me, a channel focused on content related to personal finance — being one of the largest in the area. The journalist created Me Poupe in 2013 as a blog, which subsequently went through several phases.

With the youtube channel Nathalia won several awards and helped many women in their goals, becoming one of the biggest references in financial content on the internet, with more than 6.8 million subscribers on YouTube and 3.3 million followers on his profile from Instagram.

3. Nathália Rodrigues she is also featured in content focused on financial education. She has a degree in Administration and dreamed of being an entrepreneur since she was a child, her channel (Nath Finance) was created in 2019 but became more public during the pandemic.

Her strategy is aimed at a balance between saving with little money, using amounts such as a minimum wage or emergency aid. And, due to its popular language, without economic concepts, it managed to reach different audiences.
