This change was published in the Official Gazette of the Union. Through it, a decree was drawn up determining that the National Consumer Secretariat of the Ministry of Justice and Public Security must carry out, on a constant basis, a new agreement for the discharge of debts and the prevention of over-indebtedness arising from consumption.
According to President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, in a statement on his social networks, this is one more of the several government initiatives to guarantee credit and better consumption conditions for citizens Brazilians.
He also said that measures like this cause the economy to heat up considerably, improving the scenario as a whole.

Based on this exchange, the creditor institution will have a guarantee from the National Treasury if, for some reason, the debtors do not comply with the agreed commitments.
Every creditor who wants to be part of the Desenrola program will have to settle debts of up to R$ 100. According to surveys, 1.5 million people are in this scenario and will be able to clear their name if the institutions enter the program.
