With this new functionality, Workspace users will be able to transfer everyday tasks to the Google Assistant, such as scheduling meetings, creating reminders and sending emails.
The Assistant will use AI to perform these tasks based on information available from the user's calendar and emails. According to Google, this will free up time for users to focus on more complex and creative tasks.
- New suggested answers feature
In addition, Google announced that Workspace will also have a new feature called “Responses suggestions”, which will use AI to recommend ready-made responses to emails according to the content discussed.
For example, if a user receives an email asking about a meeting, Google Assistant can automatically suggest a suitable response, such as "Yes, I'll be there" or "Sorry, I won't be able to attend”.

Currently, Google Workspace has a variety of programs that help in the daily life of the user. Among them, the main ones are: Slides, Docs, Sheets and G-mail.
- When it comes to G-mail, Google's e-mail portal and one of the most used in the world, the novelty is the use of AI in order to suggest answers;
- On the part of Google Sheets, AI will further enhance its operation through automatic filling of rows and columns and generation of formulas with great efficiency;
- With regard to Google Docs and Gmail, the new technology will establish a connection between the platforms with the aim of creating briefings according to content present in emails.
- Finally, creating presentations through Google Slides will become a completely automated task. This is because the AI will create presentations according to the content present in documents, images, audio-visual, etc., selected by the user.
