In this case, it is the Italian 50 Top Pizza award, which brings together restaurants specializing in pizza that perform the best preparation of this recipe worldwide.
Unsurprisingly, Italy ranks as the country with the highest number of pizzerias on the list of the top 100 in the world. It even holds first place, with Masanielli pizzeria by Francesco Martucci, located in Caserta, tied with Una Pizza Napoletana by Anthony Mangieri, located in New York.
In addition, in the top 5, we still find a Parisian pizzeria, which is Giuseppe's Peppe Pizzeria, occupying the 3rd place. In all, there are more than 20 countries represented on the list, which you can check in full by accessing the site of the ranking.
The best pizzerias in Brazil
Through the ranking, we were also able to point out which are the 3 best Brazilian pizzerias in the world, which are the only ones to enter the top 100, however, none of them are in the top 50. In this case, the first Brazilian pizzeria to appear on the list is Pizza da Mooca, which is one of the most traditional in the city of São Paulo, with units in Mooca and Pinheiros, and ranked 77th.
In the list we also find Leggera Pizza Napoletana, which was in 83rd place, and QT Pizza Bar, which was in 99th place. It is worth noting that all three Brazilian representatives work from the classic Italian version of pizza.
