In an announcement issued to the press, Starlink revealed that its newest service – Starlink RV – has finally arrived in the country. The company is already selling this plan in other parts of the world. It's how they allow their users to access the internet even when they are away from home, whether in a motorhome or even in another home. It is something interesting for those who travel a lot.

The value of this new plan is more expensive than the “fixed” residential plan, as it was created thinking about people who have a routine diverse, that is, those who spend most of their time traveling or who exhibit a lifestyle that is strongly linked to the motorhome. The name of this service is Starlink RV. It's called that because motorhomes in the United States are known as recreational vehicles.
Check how much the new plan will cost in Brazil
This type of service is already considered expensive in the United States and the same can be said about its values here in Brazil. The price of the equipment, which also comes with an antenna, is R$ 2,000. Subscribing to this plan will cost an average of BRL 280 per month, BRL 50 more expensive than the company's fixed plan, Starlink Residencial.
The price is only worth it for people who are always traveling abroad and don't want to be held hostage by just their 4G. One of the advantages of the plan is that it can be frozen, that is, you only pay when you use it. Starlink Viagens is then interrupted until the next trip made by the user, when the plan is unfrozen and becomes active again. Despite the service being paused, the user can still use his internet until the end of the month in which the plan has already been paid for.
Here comes Starlink “on the move”
Starlink announced in October the launch of its newest service: Starlink “on the move”. This plan was also created in order to serve people who live in motorhomes, so it will be possible for the internet connection to be made during the journey. There is no information about the coming of this plan to Brazil so far. In the United States and other selected countries, it should hit the market next month.
The big difference between the Starlink “on the move” plans and the Starlink RV is the Starlink High Performance antenna, whose equipment costs around US$ 2,500. The promise is that this antenna has greater durability because of its material that makes it more resistant.
