This project was created mainly to ensure that these students had access to the benefits promoted by the internet in relation to learning. They are: having access to a wide variety of knowledge; video classes; educational content; research to expand knowledge on a given subject; among many others.

It is estimated that by the middle of next year, this program will have been installed throughout Brazil. So, check now how it operates in practice and get more information about it.

How will this benefit work?

This project will distribute internet through chips, that is, 700,000 chips will be delivered with the 20gb internet package. All students who are enrolled in the Single Registry for social programs (CadÚnico) will be entitled to them. That is, all those who study in municipal, state or public schools can have access.

By the end of this year, it is estimated that around 10,000 chips will be delivered. Their distribution will begin in the cities of Juazeiro, Mossoró, Caruaru, Caicó, Campina Grande and Petrolina. If you meet the requirements mentioned above and live in one of these cities, stay tuned to secure yours and enjoy the benefits it can bring.

other program

A new project whose purpose is very similar to Internet Brasil is Wi-Fi Brasil. This is a program that was started and today already provides internet access to thousands of people, including indigenous communities. This model works as follows: the network is installed in certain locations. Among them, public schools, squares and libraries, where access will be made available free of charge to anyone who wants to use it.
