Scenes That Nearly Killed Their Actors
The seventh art can be more dangerous than it seems. Filled with action scenes, cinema, although creating many fictional scenes to imitate reality, ends up giving life to some really real ones, which can end up being quite dangerous for your actors, leading some of them to death.
There are several cases of blockbuster films that caused serious risks to their stars. Actors often really “give their blood” to bring a perfect show to the viewer.

Mission Impossible Fallout – Tom Cruise
The actor is always willing to do his stunts himself, however, this often causes a lot of danger to his life. An example of this was the movie “Mission Impossible”. In one of the scenes, Tom Cruise needed to jump from two buildings far away from each other and, when performing the jump, he missed the markings and ended up suffering a serious ankle fracture. It was just a scare, after all, if he had fallen a little lower, he would be dead by now.
The Exorcist – Ellen Burstyn
The film is a success in the horror genre and brought several bizarre situations to the team. An example was the accident suffered by Ellen Burstyn in one of the scariest scenes in the film. The actress is thrown into the wall in the scene, and the blow was really strong, which ended up causing a spinal injury that unfortunately stayed forever.
Meter Trick – Isla Fisher
In the film, the actress goes through several scenes that are very difficult to do and one of them is a trick in which she needed to stay underwater. However, the scene lasted too long, and if it lasted a few more seconds, Isla would end up losing consciousness and it would be fatal.
Titanic – Kate Winslet
Classic film, Titanic had some very difficult scenes for its actors, in one of the scenes and, that the ship is sinking, the actress Kate Winslet ended up getting stuck with the water rising due to the clothes she was wearing at the time, but the actress managed to free herself before the worst happen.
