In this sense, the perspective of volume of business aimed at this segment has been proving to be frightening, moving globally around 384.7 billion dollars in the year 2021, with an estimate to reach 2.4 trillion by 2029, according to Fortune Business consultancy Insights. Thus, focusing on this market, TIM and Microsoft joined in an unprecedented partnership in Brazil with purpose of offering complete solutions, with connectivity and the main cloud resources with Azure IoT.
In this perspective, together, the two global giants intend to provide tools and solutions to other companies, mainly in the sectors manufacturing, transportation, retail, healthcare, agro, finance and government, with the aim of improving their performance and creating new businesses and products. In view of this, Paulo Humberto Gouvêa, Director of Corporate Solutions at TIM Brasil, stated that this partnership brings to the market an ecosystem of partners and solutions ranging from connectivity to the platform that enables business.
“We want to be part of the ecosystem and we are investing to become the preferred partner in IoT for companies across the country”, he highlights. Finally, Ricardo Fernandes, Vice President of Enterprise Business at Microsoft Brazil, adds that “it is fundamental in our strategy to democratize the use of technology and support our customers from the most varied postage”.
