The company that developed the project is Doroni Aerospace, which named the aircraft H1. According to the developers, the structure is finished, and at the moment, it is in the process of financing, as well as the development of software and system for the integration of the flight.
Doroni announced the first flight scheduled for later this year in Florida with a possible launch date of the fourth quarter of 2024. The flying car is functional for daily activities as it performs charging within 15-20 minutes. As for speed and range, its maximum capacity will reach 140mph (approximately 225 km/h) and 60 miles respectively.
The company reinforces the safety items present in the car, including the fuselage parachute and sensors that help maintain the correct altitude. The eVTOL (Electrical Takeoff and Landing Aircraft) is considered by its developers to be the beginning of changes in the way of locomotion. In addition, the company counts on the advancement of technology to further improve the vehicle, such as, for example, increasing its altitude range.
