Illness caused by whatsapp

Did you know that spending too much time on your cell phone can cause illness? That's right! WhatsApp is bringing some health hazards when not used in moderation.

In addition to affecting relationships with people, the excessive use of the messenger is generating a significant increase in the number of physical illnesses.

Precisely for this reason, a Spanish medical specialist has identified a problem called “WhatsAppitis”, which can be caused by the misuse of the application.

She even released an article in The Lancet newspaper, which talks about medical matters, where she explains everything and tells about a patient who contracted the disease.

The doctor explains that by sending too many messages with your hands and thumbs repeatedly, it is possible to end up developing an injury called Repetitive strain injury (TO READ).

This disease can cause pain and inflammation in the affected region, and may even limit the ability to perform day-to-day activities.

Know the main symptoms of the disease caused by Whatsapp

You love using your cell phone and WhatsApp all day, don't you? But keep an eye on the signs that your body may be giving that you need time away from these technologies.

Some very common symptoms are: tingling in the hands, inflammation, difficulty moving the fingers, pain in the arms and fingers, muscle fatigue, in addition to the sensation of numbness or even cramps, as well as changes in temperature and also increased sensitivity, without forgetting the reduction of movement.

Don't worry, if you experience any of these symptoms, it's time to relax a little and take care of your body.

How about taking a walk outdoors or reading a book without needing your cell phone next to you? Short breaks are good for the mind and body.
