Hyundai's electric bicycle generates expectation of success
Among several important issues, Hyundai scored the main ones. For starters, it was said that the bike has a 250-watt motor, battery for up to 80 km and reaches a top speed of 25 km/h.
If lifted, the equipment can be used as a bicycle for motionless exercises.
At first, the model was developed to be sold exclusively in France, costing around R$ 18,800 in direct conversion and without taxes or shipping.
For people who choose to rent the bike for testing, the conditions are also facilitated.
It is important to point out that the bicycle has a safety system with regard to speed. This way, if the user tries to exceed 25 km/h, acceleration is automatically disabled.
About the eXXite Next battery
A hyundai made a point of telling users that, although the bicycle has an engine, it is not a motorcycle. Therefore, the 250 watts of power is just to help when pedaling.
The battery, in turn, is located in the pipe below the saddle and uses 36 volts with a capacity of 14 Ah.
If the owner wants to practice some physical exercise, but without leaving home, the bicycle comes with an accessory that lifts the wheels. The main objective is precisely to create a training station and, through a application, the user will be able to monitor the amount of calories being burned.
When it is directed to the function mentioned above, the engine is turned off and it is even possible to leave it charging.
