'Ghostly' entity not seen since World War II photographed in London

Pete Mantle, another birdwatcher present during the sighting, also expressed surprise at the rarity of the occurrence. In an interview with Camden New Journal, Mantle described how he saw the barn owl gliding through the park as he watched from the hillside.

The Heath Hands organization, dedicated to the conservation of wildlife in Hampstead Heath, shared the birdwatchers' excitement, describing the "ghostly" figure as something they were excited about in an Instagram post.
