Practical skillet bread recipe
Ingredients:
- 480g wheat flour;
- 220g of natural yogurt (1 cup measure);
- 200 ml of water;
- 1 pack of baking powder;
- 1 teaspoon of salt;
- 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil.
Method of preparation:
- First, take a large container, place the glass of natural yogurt, the water, the yeast and mix everything until you get a homogeneous liquid;
- Add all the wheat flour and salt and mix gently with a spoon;
Tip: When you feel the mass weigh, you can mix it with your hand until it disgraces from the bottom of the container.
- Then add the oil to the mixture and stir again (leaving it homogeneous);
- Now take some wheat flour and sprinkle a surface;
- Then, take the dough, divide it into ten equal parts, make balls and roll them out with a rolling pin (up to the size of a small pancake);
- Take the open masses to a preheated skillet in medium fire until both sides are golden.
Observation: There's just no need to grease the skillet if it's non-stick. If not, add a little olive oil. Also, it's good to know that the buns will inflate and collapse as they are heated.
- Finally, once the sides are golden brown, the skillet bread is ready to eat!
