According to a study done by the Journal of Poultry Science - Journal of Poultry Science -, freezing from 2 months can impact the texture of the meat. The scientists froze 3 chicken breasts for two months and 3 chicken breasts for three months.
In the first experiment with chicken breasts frozen for two months, the scientists cooked these chickens and concluded that their texture was similar to that of fresh chicken.
In the second experiment with chickens frozen for three months, when cooking them, the scientists concluded that the chicken was 15% more resistant than the fresh chicken.
