During the Practical Phase of Restaura Natureza, groups can be made up of students from different grades of elementary and high school, as long as they study at the same school. For example, a group can include students from 7th to 9th grades of elementary school and 1st grade of high school.

stages of the olympics

The Olympics consists of two simultaneous phases. First, the online phase is carried out, which presents the training topics and invites students to test their knowledge individually through a quiz.

After this step, comes the practical phase, carried out in groups, in which children and young people will develop projects related to the use of technology, planting, changes in community management, engagement campaigns or any creative action that encourages the restoration of ecosystems.

The groups that send a report of their actions will compete in two categories: Judging Commission and Popular Vote, which are worth prizes.

The character Chico Bento is the ambassador of the Olympics, through an institutional partnership with Mauricio de Sousa Produções. Other institutional partners are:

  • United Nations Environment Program (UNEP);
  • Scouts of Brazil;
  • Film Ecospeaker Show;
  • Brazilian Society for Ecological Restoration (About);
  • Creatives from the School, from the Alana Institute.

In addition to these partners, Restaura Natureza has the support of the Bom Ar® brand, from Reckitt Hygiene Comercial, with whom WWF-Brasil began a three-year partnership in 2021. This is all in favor of restoring the Cerrado and the Atlantic Forest, and the Aegea.
