News
In 2022, Spotify brought some surprises to its subscribers.
One is a special thank you from the artists you've listened to the most over the past year. To watch, click on the “messages from artists” tab on the tool's homepage.
In addition, the platform brought ratings for your music habits. Analyzing what you've heard the most over the days, it tells you your feelings in the morning, afternoon or night. In the list, you can find: empowerment, love, passion, tranquility, high spirits, soft, confident, happiness and much more.
In addition, the app evaluates your “sound personality”. The algorithm evaluates your habits to classify what kind of listener you are. For example: it can be a Fan Card, who is a person who listens to everything from the artist and is not attached to the hits. You can also be a Listener Ahead of Your Time, who catches trends before fashion.
The Spotify retrospective also shows how many minutes of music and podcast you listened to in 2022.
