‘The Iron Giant’

While Disney and Pixar had already established their name in the animation market, Warner decided to invest in this adaptation of the book “The Iron Man”, by Ted Hughes. The film tells the story of a 9-year-old boy who encounters an alien robot while exploring his neighborhood.

But a government agent wants to destroy the machine. Fun fact: the film is directed by Bard Bird, who later worked on “The Incredibles” and “Ratatouille”.

'How to Drive Your Boss Crazy'

A hit, starring Jennifer Aniston, shows a man completely dissatisfied with his job. When his therapist dies in the middle of his hypnosis session, his personality changes and he starts not meeting schedules or doing what is asked of him.

'Fight Club'

This one you know, don't you? This movie is “forgotten” for a while, but soon returns and goes viral on social media for one reason or another.

The story, adapted from Chuck Palahniuk's book of the same name, follows a depressed man who meets the mysterious Tyler Durden on a flight. Together, they discover that they feel “more alive” when they fight.

'Young Witches'

Another film that, for sure, is in her memory. A young woman moves from San Francisco to Los Angeles with her father to start over after her mother's death.

There, she learns that she is a witch and enters a sorority with three other students from her high school. However, she discovers that magic isn't all about "abracadabra".

'The Blair Witch Project'

A group of three young people decide to make a documentary about the Blair Witch legend, but they disappear into a forest in the middle of filming. The footage was found and that's what we see in the entire movie. It's scary, raw and suspenseful.

'Jack's wierd world'

This Disney movie deserved more recognition! One of Tim Burton's masterpieces, "The Nightmare Before Christmas" follows the King of halloween, who lives an existential dilemma: he lives in Halloween Town, among horrible monsters and is adored by everyone, but he's tired of doing the same thing every year. His perspective changes when he gets to know Christmas Town.

'Election'

Starring Reese Witherspoon and Matthew Broderick, "Election" is a very underrated film. He follows Jim, a beloved teacher, and Tracy, a student who uses unethical tactics to get what she wants. When she decides to run for school president, the teacher tries to sabotage her by supporting a popular athlete on the sly.

'Rushmore'

Max falls in love with the school's first grade teacher and asks his friends' father, an eccentric millionaire, for advice on how to win her over. However, our protagonist's new friend also becomes involved with his beloved. From then on, it's a war for the master's heart.

‘eXistenZ’

Starring Jude Law, the film features a game creator who survives an assassination attempt. To ease his trauma, he seeks refuge in his own virtual reality. However, what is digital and what is real start to blend together.

'The Virgin Suicides'

Directed by Sofia Coppola and fantastic performances by Kirsten Dunst and Josh Hartnett, "The Virgin Suicides" brings the story of five sisters in the 1970s. It is a story full of love, repression, mystery, fantasy, memory and desire.

The project is acclaimed worldwide and has received nominations for several awards, including two oscars: Best Actress (for Hilary Swank) and Best Supporting Actress (Chloë Sevigny).

Max is a genius who avoids contact with other people and suffers from terrible headaches constantly. His life takes on new meaning when he discovers the complete number of Pi and, with that, understands the secrets of all existence on Earth.

Knowledge attracts the greed of stock exchange bigwigs. It is a film by Darren Aronofsky, the same name behind “Mother” and “Black Swan”, “Requiem for a Dream” and the acclaimed “The Whale”.

'Here we go'

With Katie Holmes and Timothy Olyphant in the cast, “Vamos Nessa” follows a supermarket cashier who decides to sell drugs to pay his rent. Needless to say, things went very wrong, right?

'Rosetta'

“Rosetta” accompanies an impulsive young woman with the same name as the film, who lives in a trailer with her mother, an aggressive and alcoholic woman.
