New home: dynamic menu and infinite scroll
The first novelty announced is a new home for Spotify. In the best style TikTok, now the app will have infinite scroll. Users will be able to view short video clips, preview songs, podcastsand audiobooks suggested by Artificial Intelligence (AI), based on your preferences.
The suggestions shown will be based on the preferences of users of the streaming platform and available only in the mobile version at the moment. According to the company, you will be able to continue scrolling your feed while saving the content you want to listen to, in a more practical way.
Smart Shuffle: suggestion of new songs for your playlists
Another new feature coming to the Spotifyit's Smart Shuffle. The feature will suggest new songs every third track in playlists with more than 15 songs, marking added tracks with a glow emoji. In fact, this functionality will replace the old “Improve” button for playlists.
DJ: Creating custom playlists and AI commentary
DJ is a new individual experience driven by an AI that will create personalized playlists for each user. In addition, the technology will use an artificial voice to make comments.
