Volkswagen's new electric car.

During the announcement of the new model, the designer responsible for ID.2all spoke a little about how the vehicle will bring with it some references to old models. According to him, the great interest is to transfer the DNA of Volkswagen, which has been so successful over the decades, to the new vehicles.

Thus, ID.2all will bring a “virtual beetle dashboard”, in which it will be possible to find the visual simulation of the instrument panel that Volkswagen used in the 1970s and 1980s.

Similar to the Beetle, the ID.2all will feature a screen with a black background reminiscent of the old model, in addition to the large pointer speedometer and a gear indicator on the left.

Other purely aesthetic details are in the vehicle just to bring nostalgia to the driver. For example, the car will also have fake grilles at its ends, in order to bring to mind the old car speakers that used to be “camouflaged” in the frame. Soon, it will be a full plate for those who love old cars.

More details about ID.2all

According to Volkswagen, the production of the model should start only in 2025 and in Europe. Including, there is no news that the car could appear outside the European continent. Furthermore, we know that the vehicle will have an affordable price, even cheaper than the ID.3, which is priced at almost 40,000 euros in Germany.

As for technical details, the 223 horsepower electric motor stands out, in addition to acceleration that goes from 0 to 100 km/h in less than seven seconds. Not to mention the autonomy, estimated at 450 km. Finally, we need to talk about the battery, which will take just twenty minutes to charge from 10% to 80%.
