Anime Awards Brazil 2023 announces winners; see if your favorite is on the list

O anime awards Brazil 2023 took place last Saturday, June 10th. This is considered the highest award otaku of the country and recognizes the excellence of animations in Asian style.

This year, the anime “Bocchi The Rock!” came out as the big winner of the award. In all, the animation grabbed eight awards, including the most important of the ceremony: Anime of the Year.

How is voting done?

According to the content streaming platform Crunchyroll, responsible for the awards, the winners are chosen according to some criteria, such as: technical excellence, innovation, impact, popularity and appreciation of new talent.

This year, the voting was attended by professionals from different areas and also by the public. The specialized jury had 70% of the score, while the public had 30%.
