As part of its commitment to empowering people to use generative AI, Microsoft is launching the Generative AI Skills challenge.
In collaboration with data.org,AI for Good Lab from Microsoft and the GitHub, the program aims to provide a global grant to organizations that are dedicated to training and enabling teams in generative AI, aiming to generate a significant social impact.
The challenge Generative AI Skills offers a unique opportunity for these organizations to expand their AI expertise and explore the potential of Microsoft-supported content generation. The course's target audience are academic institutions, social enterprises, research institutions and the like.
The Professional Certificate in Generative AI offered by Bill Gates' company is available in English and soon it will also be offered in Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Chinese and Japanese on LinkedIn Learning. This certificate is part of the Skills for Jobs program and will be made available free of charge by Microsoft until 2025.
For interested institutions, registration is open at challenge website until August 15, 2023. After the closing of the applications, the projects will be evaluated and the winners will be announced in the third quarter of this year.
