The Ministry of Education (MEC) opened enrollment for more than 100,000 places in free education courses and various topics.
Offered online, the training is aimed at both teachers and the general community.
The initiative is promoted by the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (Capes) with the State University of Maranhão (UEMA).
Enrollment and courses are held at the platform ladder.

Among the new courses being offered are:
School Management of Basic Education: aims to guide educators to identify and understand important factors in school management. An analysis of the historical, conceptual, methodological and legal aspects is made.
In this course, the manager's role in organizing the pedagogical work and the spaces in school period, as well as analyze the importance of implementing democratic management within school.
Gamification in Inclusive Teaching for the Deaf: gamification is presented as a strategic proposal in the teaching and learning process for deaf students.
Literacy, Literacy and Digital Technologies: addresses literacy from the perspective of Historical-Critical Pedagogy and promotes the digital literacy of literate teachers.
