Lula announces Camilo Santana as Minister of Education

This morning, December 22, 2022, the graduated president Luis Inácio Lula da Silva announced 16 names at the head of various ministries of his government.

Among them is the official announcement of Camilo Santana as Minister of Education. As we reported, the choice had already been made in a meeting last Monday (19).

Santana is a former governor of Ceará and was elected senator in this year's elections for the Workers' Party (PT). The new minister holds a degree in Agricultural Engineering and a master's degree in development and the environment from the Federal University of Ceará (UFC).
