Brazil's debut in World Cup 2022 will be this Thursday (24) against the Serbia. The match takes place at Group G and will take place from 4 pm at the Lusail stadium, in Doha.
Today begins the search for six-time championship. The Brazilian team starts this edition of the Cup as one of the favorites to take the title home.
This is the first time that a world Cup is being played in a country of the Middle East. The opening ceremony of the event took place last Sunday (20) at the Al Bayt stadium, in the city of Al Khor. In all, there are 64 matches that run until December 18, when the Cup final will be played.

Serbia national team
The Serbia national team starts the World Cup in 21st in FIFA ranking.
This will be the Servants' third participation in the world championship as an independent country.
Located in eastern europe, Serbia has more than 8 million inhabitants. The country was once part of the territory of Yugoslavia.
Brazil has played four times in World Cup matches against Yugoslavia (now Serbia). The clashes took place in the 1930s, 1950s, 1954 and 1974. In 2018, also during the group stage, the Brazilian team beat Serbia with the score of 2 to 0.
In these matches, Brazil was victorious twice, there were two draws and a defeat for the Brazilian team.
The only time that Brazilians lost to Serbs (Yugoslavs) was in the first World Cup, in the city of Montevideo (Uruguay) with a score of 2 to 1.
