In this moment of quarantine, in addition to staying at home and having the recommended hygiene care, another care we can take is with our immunity. Some habits help keep our immunity high, such as regular physical activity, drinking a lot of water, sleeping well, having a balanced diet and avoid ultra-processed foods. Fruits and vegetables are important foods for our immunity and consumption of three to five servings per day is recommended.
As the tastiest, healthiest and cheapest fruits are seasonal fruits, I bring you the fruits of the month of May. Enjoy the quarantine and prepare fruit salads, different cuts, presentation forms, combinations, and eat more fruit!
