Enem's newsroom is very feared. In addition to students finding it very difficult to write, the fact that their grade is so high increases nervousness among participants. So, check below what you should NOT do in the Enem newsroom.
1. don't run away from the topic
You can't start talking about one thing and move on to another without making sense. It is even worse, with this, to evade the subject.
If the proposed topic is "Challenges for the educational training of the deaf in Brazil" (theme of the 2017 Enem essay), do not write about corruption, for example. Produce a text, according to your proposal.
2. Don't make a text without paragraphs
Any essay-argumentative text must be well structured. At introduction, it must have a problem, in the development, he must present opinions and examples that support an idea and, in the conclusion, he must propose a solution.
It doesn't make sense to have it all without a good division. You can produce 1 paragraph for introduction, 2 for development and 1 for conclusion. This tip is right!
3. Do not present a text full of repetitions
Being repetitive rather than developing an idea is being redundant and showing that you are just "filling sausage" to have the required number of lines in the test, between 7 and 30.
There is a lot to be said. Think and structure your text calmly, applying knowledge that supports your proposal.
4. Do not produce a text that is not essay-argumentative
There are several types of texts, and in Enem it is the argumentative-dissector text that should be used. Its structure revolves around theme, thesis, arguments and intervention proposal.
In this type of text, the author defends his idea for the problem that is presented, justifies what he writes with examples and proposes a solution.
5. Do not copy motivational texts
The Enem test contains motivating texts that present the thematic proposal of the essay. These texts serve to help the participant to reflect on the problem exposed.
Under no circumstances may you copy the content of these handouts. This is one of the reasons for assigning zero to an essay in Enem.

6. Do not use loose sentences
Good writing must be cohesive and coherent. Ideas cannot be loose, otherwise they will not make sense.
The construction of the argument is made by the logical sequence of the parts. Therefore, the connectives are fundamental pieces in a text.

7. Do not write in illegible handwriting
Make life easier for reviewers and make the handwriting legible.
An important thing that the participant must remember is that it is not worth working on the letter and taking the opportunity to make a large letter in order to reach the minimum number of lines. Evaluators know very well how to spot this trick.
8. Do not give the text in pencil
The Enem test must be completed with a black ink pen. You should make an outline of your text on the draft sheet provided in the proof. Then go over to the essay sheet.
Remember that even if you made an excellent text on the draft sheet, but didn't have time to transcribe it to the official sheet, the writing is reset.
9. do not use informal language
The first competence of the reference matrix for writing, that is, one of the criteria for evaluating this test, is to show knowledge of the Portuguese language in the formal modality.
This is not to say that you have to use fancy words, but rather a vocabulary suitable for the purpose of the essay and, of course, free from slang.
10. Don't disrespect human rights
The conclusion of your text should contain the solution to the problem addressed. This solution must strive for human values.
If your intervention proposal does not respect human rights, your essay will lose 200 points.
