The economic activities of the State of Paraná are quite varied, because of this it manages to rank among the States with the best economies, that is, the richest. The Paraná economy is based on agriculture, livestock, mining, plant extraction and industry.
Agriculture
The Paraná soil is fertile, favoring agricultural activity. The state produces a wide variety of crops, stands out as an important producer of wheat, corn, soybeans, cotton and coffee.
Livestock
In the pastoral activity, cattle raising stands out, containing a numerous herd, in addition to being a large producer of swine, it also stands out in the production of milk, eggs, silkworms, among others.
Mining
Paraná's soil is home to huge and diversified mineral deposits, the main ones being: gold, copper, minerals noble, in addition to others such as sand, clay, limestone, kaolin, dolomite, talc, granite, marble, lead and iron.
plant extractivism
This type of activity consists of removing vegetable items from nature for economic purposes, with this, the main trees exploited are the Paraná pines (Araucaria Angustifólia).
Industry
Curitiba concentrates an industrial city that operates in the automobile, metalworking, cement, ceramics, assembly of machinery, fabrics, slaughterhouses, in addition to agribusinesses that transform primary products, such as soy, corn, pork and wood.
The industrial park in Paraná has approximately 24 thousand companies, which generate results that surpass the national average in the field.
