Proficiency is the demonstration of knowledge, competence and capacity. Proficiency is an adjective to qualify a person who has a full knowledge of a particular subject, who runs everything with a lot fruitfulness, abiliity and competence.

A proficient individual is someone skilled and capable, and demonstrates knowledge in a particular subject.
