It consists of a kind of gestural theater which makes the least possible use of words, placing greater emphasis on movements through mimicry, attitudes and facial expressions.

Pantomime is similar to other modes of theatrical expression such as dance, as it is based on the art of being able to narrate with the body. For this reason, the non-verbal aspects must be executed very well, to guarantee the success of the narrative.

Other elements are also important for the perfection of pantomime presentations, such as makeup and costumes, which are essential for communicating with the public.

She is an excellent device used by comedians, clowns, comedy actors, dancers and interpreters in general.

The artist who is dedicated to pantomime as a scenic performance is known as treat. His point of action is not to use oral language during his performance. Some mimes manage to refrain from producing any kind of sound.

The mimes usually act individually, that is, they do not usually participate in shows with several artists, limiting themselves to imitate people or things with their mime.

During your presentations, the intention is to express yourself as much as possible using gestures. However, although the focus of pantomime performances is not speeches, shows can include musical numbers and even singing.

The pantomime has its origin and influence from popular theaters of the Roman comedy and tragedy genre. Ancient and Ancient Greece, where there was a dramatic representation with a solo dancer and a choir narrative.

The term can still characterize, in a figurative sense, a cunning and unreasonable lie.
