Definition of Schizophrenia (What it is, Concept and Definition)

  • Mental skills deficit: Lack of motivation, apathy, social isolation. Thinking impoverishes and the person shows complete emotional indifference.

Paranoid Schizophrenia

It is a form of schizophrenia in which the delusional ideas and the hallucinations. Does not affect intellectual activity. People who suffer from this disorder have a large distrust, anxiety and high levels of fury, being able to easily get involved in physical confrontations.

Hebephrenic Schizophrenia

Hebephrenic schizophrenia is related to affective disorders. It is characterized by delusions, hallucinations and unpredictable behavior.

There is a strong trend towards social distancing and other types of symptoms, such as unusual and strange expressions, neglect of one's appearance, among others. It is usually diagnosed before 25 years of age.
