What is Krav Maga?

Krav maga means hand-to-hand fight. It is the only fighting technique recognized worldwide as personal self-defense and not as a martial art.

Krav Magá was developed in Israel, with various types of techniques to strike the opponent in the most sensitive parts of the body. Your blows are only applied when the person is attacked in some way.

The objective of Krav Magá is that its techniques can be used by anyone, regardless of gender or age, to defend themselves from any type of aggressor.

The origin of Karv Maga comes from Imi Lichtenfeld, a Hungarian professional boxer and fighter, who defended the Jews in Bratislava during the First World War.

After Israel's independence, Imi trained the country's army and police force. From then on, he started training civilians. From 1964 onwards, krav magá became popular around the world.

The krav magá is used by Israel's Special Defense Forces, as well as several international organizations such as the FBI, SWAT, and other US police departments.
