Cuddle means dating, sexual attraction or attachment for something.
The origin of the term is controversial, but there is reference in Antônio Geraldo da Cunha's etymological research that it is derived from "flame". As such, a cuddle is a state of excitement, involving bold caresses and seductive gestures, with manifest sexual intent.
However, with less common use, cuddling can also be an affectionate caress or even a special affection for someone, in which a relationship of tenderness and affection is established, without sexual connotation.
Cuddle is an intense passion for someone or something, for example "a cuddle of the child with the new toy".
Some lyrics use the term "chamego", as is the case of the country duo Bruno & Marrone, who present in the chorus of the song "Chamego Bom", the phrase: "Ah, what a good cuddle you make me". Or even the singer Martinho da Vila, who in the song "Me Faz Um Dengo", writes in a passage: "Make me a naughty, make me a cuddle / Take the rest of me, pat me down".
