Couple 20 is expression that became popular from the American series, Hart to Hart, which here in Brazil became known as “Couple 20”, and was a great success in the 1980s.
The series tells the life story of couple in love and perfect, Jonathan Hart and Jennifer Hart, played by actors Robert Wagner and Stefanie Powers respectively.
The expression “Couple 20” came to be used to characterize couples in love, in which both deserved a “10 score”, for this reason, called “couple 20”.
The series debuted on television in 1979 and remained on the air until 1984, with a total of 110 episodes, in five seasons.
The series, whose original title is “Hart to Hart”, was created by novelist Sidney Sheldon, and tells the life of the couple in love, millionaire who lived in a mansion with their butler and friend Max, played by actor Lionel Stander.
