Definition of Squadron (What it is, Concept and Definition)

Squadron is the name given to a small military unit group, forming by a armed army, cavalry or cops.

In the military sphere, squadrons are ranked hierarchically above platoons and below squadron groups, usually under the command of a responsible captain.

A squadron can still be classified as a military fighter or reconnaissance unit, widely used in conflict and war situations.

The squadrons can be divided into naval, air, rescue or even more specific, such as the bomb squad (bomb squad, in English), intended to deactivate bombs and explosive devices that may be life-threatening.

Taking a broader, figurative sense, a squad can be any type of band or grouping of people with the same objective or mission, usually under the leadership of someone else.
