Trilogy means a literary work, or musical, or scientific divided into three parts, and comes from the Greek. This term has been widely used in cinema, with great box office success.

Among the Trilogy of literary works we still find the Space Trilogy, Heritage Trilogy, O Tempo eo Vento, The Paths of Freedom, The Chronicles of Arthur, among others.
