European countries and their capitals


THE Europe is the second smallest continent in the world after the Oceania. It has an extension of 10,530,751 km², representing 11.5% of the emerging lands on the planet.

the continentconsists of 50 countries and is located west of the Asia, north of Africa, east of the Atlantic Ocean and south of Arctic glacial ocean. Some of the European countries are also part of Asia, such as Turkey and Russia. It is important to stress that the United Kingdom is a sovereign state, made up of four countries.

If we disregard Russia, a transcontinental country whose most of its territory is located in Asia, the European countries fit in Brazil (even presenting many more countries than Brazil has in states). Check out the following illustration:
