Suspensions will affect Bolsa Família and Cadastro Único for 6 months

The Ministry of Citizenship, through an ordinance published in the Official Gazette of the Union, announced that the suspension of reviews of the cadastral and operational procedures of Bolsa Família and Cadastro Único will be extended for another 180 days.

The measure aims to ensure that the population complies with social isolation during the pandemic of new coronavirus. Minister Onyx Lorenzoni signed the text on July 20th.

According to the document, it is necessary that agglomerations continue to be avoided. With this, Bolsa Família beneficiaries and citizens who work in registration units avoid exposing themselves to the virus.
