Who are the Avengers

Without a doubt, the topic of the moment is the new cinematographic production of Marvel. We are talking about the movie ‘Avengers: Endgame‘. That's because the production company's latest release is dragging millions of people to the movies.

In the first week alone, more than $1 billion dollars were collected at the box office. The film brings the conclusions of the universe built by Marvel since 2008.

However, even though it has a huge prominence in pop culture and is one of the most talked about subjects on social media, many still don't quite understand who the heroes of Marvel are.

So, for starters, the Avengers are a group of superheroes from Marvel, an American publisher and producer. The group appeared in comic books (like most heroes), but they have adaptations in movies, video games and cartoons.

Additionally, the Avengers were inspired by DC Comics' Justice League. Therefore, the group fights for the good of human society, and against great villains. Throughout its history in comics, the team has gone through different formations. As well as in cinema there were also additions of heroes in the group.

Thus, to help those who do not understand this cinematographic universe well, we explain the current formation of the Avengers, which is the one represented in cinema.

Wanda Maximoff is another great heroine of the Marvel Universe. At first the character was part of the Brotherhood of Mutants, led by the mutant Magneto. That's because until then the story was that the villain was her father.

However, it has recently been revealed that Wanda is not a mutant, as she has always been represented in recent years, but rather a genetically enhanced one. And that was how the character was introduced in Marvel's Cinematographic Universe, since the producer could not put her as a mutant.

As such, apparently her history as a mutant and Magneto's daughter is officially erased. Anyway, even though in the movies Wanda is not so prominent, in the comics her powers are unparalleled.

The Scarlet Witch can manipulate the probability of events, distort reality as well. such as manipulation, generation and emission of energy, telepathy, mental manipulation and several others powers.

In movie theaters, the character is played by Elizabeth Olsen, and was introduced to the Universe in the 2015 film ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’.

black Panther

The character's secret identity is T’Challa, the king of Wakanda, a fictional country in Africa. As such, the Black Panther is king and protector of his country.

Also, the character has improved abilities due to an ancient ritual from his country. However, the superhero also has rigorous training, martial arts and access to advanced technologies extracted by the metal Vibranium.

Although he is an old acquaintance in the comic book world, Black Panther was only recently introduced to the Marvel Universe, with a solo film of the same name in 2018, starring Chadwick Boseman.
