Commuting, or daily, migration corresponds to an urban phenomenon, seen especially in large cities. This process occurs as millions of people who make up the PEA (Economically Active Population) leave their residences before business hours to get to work and that at the end of the afternoon, or during office hours, return to House.
This process means simple population flows that do not exactly configure as migration, because it is not a definitive transfer, but a momentary one.
There are several cases that fit as pendular migration, among many is the flow of boias-frias who usually reside in the city and travel to the city. field where they develop their activities, people who live in a certain city and work in another, as well as weekend trips, holidays and vacation.
Due to pendular migration, rush hour occurs in large urban centers, which are determined times of the day when workers gather on the way both to get to work and back home.
Another type of flow that inserts as pendular migration is the
commuting, people who live in a certain country and move to another to work or look for an occupation.
