Spain or Kingdom of Spain is a European country located in the Iberian Peninsula. Its territory is limited to Portugal to the west; with the Mediterranean Sea to the east and south; and with France and the Atlantic Ocean to the north. Geographically, the Spanish territory is part of the northern hemisphere and part of the western hemisphere.
The country's capital is the city of Madrid. The country's territory covers an area of ​​504,782 km², where a population of approximately 44.9 million inhabitants is dispersed.

Spain is governed by a system of monarchy government, political power is divided into three: executive power, judicial power and legislative power.
More than 50% of the country's topography is made up of plateaus, where the altitude is on average 600 meters above sea level. The country's climate varies, being identified as continental (in the center of the country), Mediterranean (on the east and south coasts) and oceanic (north coast). In hydrography, the main rivers are: Tagus, Ebro, Douro, Guadiana, Guadalquivir and Minho.


Spain is in fifth place among the main economies in Europe, with a GDP that exceeds 1.4 trillion dollars. Its economy is based on the export of vehicles, in addition to shoes, shipbuilding, steel, chemical and textile industries. In agriculture, the highlights are the production of grapes and oranges. The Spaniards are great producers of wines and oils.
Fishing is also a widespread economic activity, the country has the largest fishing fleet in the world. Tourism has been responsible for a large part of the country's income.
The Spanish constitution guarantees freedom of worship, so the main religions practiced are: Catholicism (predominant), Atheism, Agnosticism, Islam, Protestantism, Mormonism, and Witnesses of Jehovah.
