Roman invasion of the British Isles

The British Isles were populated by rudimentary tribes almost defenseless against the great power of their neighbors, the Romans. The Roman Empire had already established some fortifications on the island and maintained, albeit in a hostile way, some relations with the nations of the region.
In the year 43 d. a., the region of the British was supposedly “invaded” by the Romans. In fact, the Roman Empire wanted to demonstrate its superiority over the small tribes and cities of Britannia to everyone. The real (military) conquest of Britannia was conducted a little later by Emperor Claudius, so the region became a province of the Roman Empire.
