Brazilians' life expectancy. Life expectancy in Brazil

The life expectancy of Brazilians has increased, according to the IBGE (Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics). There were several factors that led to this rise, among many, the country's economic growth, access to treated water and sewage, increased consumption, among others.

According to IBGE, the average life span of a Brazilian citizen is 72.7 years. Life expectancy or life expectancy corresponds to the number of years on average that a given population lives. This item is an important social indicator that serves to assess the quality of life of a population in a given place.

Despite the increase in the indexes of this social indicator, the country is still below the reality of many developed countries. The average percentage in Brazil in terms of life expectancy does not fully reflect reality, many regional particularities are camouflaged. Thus, we have different percentages of life expectancy that vary according to each state. Next, the life expectancy of the population of Brazilian states.
