Abyssal zone is a deep region of the ocean, ranging between 2,000 and 6,000 meters, the place is cold and very dark. This portion of the oceans accounts for a large part of the Earth's extension.
The term abyssal zone is used mainly in marine biology to designate the deepest part of an ocean. To give you an idea, the ocean floor has a depth ranging between 4,000 and 6,000 meters, which prevents the arrival of sunlight, at the bottom of the oceans the waters allow the formation of a pressure of approximately 11,000 psi.

This region represents 3% of the planet's oceans, and there is no great variety of life, as there are no conditions. favorable to the proliferation of living beings due to the lack of food and also due to the low temperature. It is precisely in this part of the oceans that the abyssal trenches are found, even deeper points.
