Omega 3 to fight Osteoporosis

Famous for its potential in anti-inflammatory processes, it is now the skeleton's newest ally to fight osteoporosis. We are talking about Omega 3, which is an essential fatty acid found in nature in three variations: EPA, DHA, alpha-linolenic acid. The first two are available in cold water fish, and the last in vegetables such as flaxseed and watercress. It is necessary to ingest omega 3 through food or as supplements in capsules, as this substance is not produced by the body.
The question may arise: Why are cold water fish rich in omega 3? Salmon, sardines, trout and tuna are the champions, because in the icy and deep currents, these fish feed on algae that contain the precursors of this fat.
But omega 3 is also found in smaller doses in seafood such as shrimp, shellfish and lobster.
This popular nutrient is also known for its vast work in benefit of the brain and heart. Some studies indicate that the ingestion of omega 3 also helps in decreasing triglyceride and total cholesterol levels. Its intake is also important in the treatment of allergies.

Do not stop now... There's more after the advertising ;)
