E-commerce is a commerce model based on electronic platforms such as computers, smartphones, tablets, etc. Basically, it is all kinds of commercialization of commercial goods through electronic devices.
E-commerce was born with the emergence of Internet, facilitating the entire process of buying and selling. In the beginning, only small products and values were sold via e-commerce (books, cds, dvds, etc.), but nowadays even the most expensive products in the world are traded through e-commerce, such as yachts, mansions, planes, works of art, among other luxury products.
It is now very easy to sell products online. To do this, simply register on a website building platform, such as Wordpress, for example, and choose a template option that allows the configuration of an e-commerce (e-commerce).
E-commerce and E-business
Many people confuse e-commerce with e-business, however both have different concepts.
E-commerce is basically an electronic commerce, that is, when there is the sale and purchase of products through electronic platforms and the internet.
e-business (electronic business) it is a e-business, is not necessarily related to the sale or purchase of products or services, but rather to the online trading process. At the end of the negotiation, there may or may not be a commercial transaction.
